The Red Dot Design Award is an international seal of quality, given to a select few products each year that excel in product design, and communication design.
They said “Litelok Gold Wearable presents an innovative version of a bicycle lock which is worn practically on the body and made of durable and therefore very safe material.”

2018 - BEST BUY - THE INDEPENDENT
Founded in 1986, the Independent is one of Britain’s leading newspapers. In their ‘12 best bike locks’ article they awarded the Litelok Gold Wearable the Indy Best Buy 2018.
The article states “Born out of a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, the Litelok is the most innovative design we’ve seen in years.”

2017 - BEST BIKE LOCK (FOLDABLE) - CYCLING PLUS
Cycling Plus have been around since 1992, providing in-depth testing and reviews from experts. In their review of Litelok, they submitted Litelok to a series of tests under intense laboratory conditions.
They stated “The Litelok took a massive amount of abuse (222.5kN) from the bolt cropper. Torsion tests had little effect, and in the tensile test it proved itself too.”

2016 - BEST CYCLING INNOVATION - LONDON CYCLING AWARDS
The London Cycling Campaign is a fantastic charity set up in 1978 which works tirelessly to make cycling safe and inviting to everyone in London. The award recognises our achievement in creating the world’s lightest, flexible Sold Secure Gold bike lock.
It was an honour to be awarded The Best Cycling Innovation of 2016

2015 - VOTED ONTO INNOVATION ALLEY - INTERBIKE NORTH AMERICA
Interbike is the largest annual bicycle show in North America. When we exhibited at Interbike 2015, we were voted onto “Innovation Alley”, a section that recognises creators for their fresh approach to product design within cycling.
Litelok was evaluated by a panel of industry members, based on usability, aesthetics, innovation and function amongst others.

2015 - INDUSTRIAL DESIGN WINNER - K-DESIGN AWARD
Based in Seoul, Korea, the K-Design Award grants true value on the potentials of creativity into products as well as outstanding ideas which are specified with outstanding design.
Winning the award within the Industrial Design category was a great honour, recognising our ambition to build the best lightweight bike lock that’s super secure.

2015 - PRODUCT INNOVATION WINNER - ISUSTAIN AWARD
The Institute for Sustainable Design (ISD) at UWTSD's Swansea College of Art is a research centre which leads on sustainable design across all art and design disciplines.
The judges of the Product Innovation category assessed nominees based on their improvement and/or creation of novel products. We were honoured to be recognised for this prestigious award.
