We are proud to announce that LITELOK CORE has been awarded a Red Dot Design 2021 Award. For more than 60 years, Red Dot has been the leading award within the design community, given to products that excel in design and innovation and acts as an international seal of quality.
We are thrilled that Red Dot has recognised the truly remarkable design of the LITELOK CORE. As well as being aesthetically built, the true innovation lies beneath the surface, with layers of security designed to foil the toughest of common theft tools. We’ve used top of the range components including aerospace grade stainless steel, plant based polymer made from bio materials, and patented composite material all built in-house, in the UK.
This isn’t the first time LITELOK has been awarded this prestigious honour, our LITELOK GOLD WEARABLE won the Red Dot Design Award back in 2018, and we are delighted that LITELOK CORE has followed suit. Our aim is to not only make lightweight, highly secure locks, but we also strive to innovate and push the boundaries of bike lock design. We have proven that it is possible to create a lock that is light, flexible and secure, and also looks good too.
From 22nd June 2021, LITELOK CORE can be seen in the exhibition “Design on Stage” in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, where all of the award-winning products are showcased.
